Our virus removal service consists of seven stages and insures proper removal of all infecting programs both virus and malware related along with preventive measures required to avoid virus infections down the road.

Stage 1: Take Command
One of the main problems many face when dealing with a virus infection is they have lost all control over the basic functions of the computer. Our first stage to the removal process is taking back command of the hardware and software from the virus software.

Stage 2: Virus Removal
Utilizing the latest technology and virus infection trends we begin the process of virus removal using both programs and manual removal methods as we hunt out and eliminate all traces of the virus code.

Stage 3: Triple Check
After all noticeable signs of the infection are gone as well as any files we start checking our work to ensure nothing is missed. During this process we triple check removal with scanning software both online and installed locally on your computer. Only after we get an all clear from these do we move on to stage 4. Should our triple check provide warnings or flagged events, we return to stage 2 and start again.

Stage 4: Patch & Secure
In most cases we find that lacking security and patches is the main reason the computer became infected. To help prevent this problem down the road we install all Microsoft recommended patches and security updates for the operating system you have. We also check many advanced settings to insure the virus software did not alter or reduce your security or modify other settings that could slow down or harm your computer.

Stage 5: Tune-up & Optimization
During this stage we remove un-needed and useless software, patch basic programs, modify or remove start-up items, disc cleanup, disc defragmentation and Windows service modifications if needed.

Stage 6: Final Inspection
Before notifying you of a successful repair we go over our work one more time looking for known symptoms of a reinjection of infected code, performance loss or other problems.

Stage 7: Warranty
We believe this is more important than all of the above as it is a REQUIREMENT for any repair shop servicing virus infected computers. FAQ’S:

Will you tell me how I got infected? How and when you got infected is not something we provide with this service as it can take days of research into system logs to know for sure. Virus removal is a big part of our monthly service requests and we have just about seen it all. Although we will not be able to tell you exactly how your computer got infected we will be able to help you better secure your computer.

Will I lose any of my files or information? No. None of your information or files are damaged or removed during the virus removal process. Although unlikely we cannot guaranty damage was not done by the virus itself.

Can I call you for help if I see weird things happening after your service? Yes. We are always happy to help out our past clients and offer free follow-up support. Should you have questions about pop-ups, installation requests or strange errors or anything else we are always a call away.

- We warranty our virus removal service with a no restriction 30-day re-infection warranty. Should you become re-infected during our warranty period we will happily provide you with a system restore atno cost to you.
