Unfortunately having a laptop motherboard replaced is both a labor intensive service but also a costly part. Used motherboards are typically the only economical approach to older model laptops as new motherboards direct from the manufacturer can get into the $300 dollar range easily.






Service Details:

The price listed covers all labor associated with replacing your laptop motherboard. This includes locating and ordering the replacement along with laptop disassembly and removal/installation work. During the repair process cleaning is performed to all internal areas of the laptop to remove dirt and spill residue found along with a visual inspection of the internal components. After the laptop motherboard is replaced we finish up with detailed quality assurance tests and then notify you of the completed repair.

Additional Notes: For drop-off laptop motherboard replacement we need the laptop and power adapter. Prepaying for drop-off service is an option, not a requirement. We also accept walk-ins and payment after all work is complete. The motherboard is not included in this service price.

HOW MUCH WILL THE MOTHERBOARD COST? Laptop motherboards range greatly in price so it is best to call for a free quote for your particular model. Used motherboards will cost $80-$175. New motherboards will cost $150-$350.

HOW LONG WILL THE REPAIR TAKE? Motherboards are ordered at the time of client request and will take 5-10 days to complete due to shipping wait times.

CAN I PREPAY FOR THE PART AND YOU NOTIFY ME WHEN IT ARRIVES TO BRING THE LAPTOP IN? Yes we can.

WILL I LOOSE ANY DATA BECAUSE OF THE MOTHERBOARD? All your personal data is stored on the laptop hard drive and will not be affected from the replacement of the motherboard.

- Used motherboards come with a 30-day to 90-day warranty. New motherboards are covered under a 1-year warranty via the manufacturer.
- We currently accept all major credit cards, debit cards as well as PayPal and cash.
- Sorry no checks or money orders of any kind.
- Payments are due at time of pickup.
- Prepayment is allowed and receipts given.
