Although in many cases we are able to correct problems with laptop keyboard keys, sticky keyboard keys, missing keys, nonworking keyboards or malfunctioning keyboards for less than replacement cost, this posting will assume complete replacement is needed.






Service Details:

The price listed covers all labor associated with the process of repairing your laptop keyboard. This includes locating and ordering the replacement along with removal and installation work. During the repair process we also clean out and dirt and spill residue found under the keyboard itself along with a visual inspection of internal components. After keyboard replacement we finish up with a quick quality assurance test of the keyboard and then notify you of the completed repair.

Additional Notes: For drop-off laptop keyboard replacement we need the laptop and power adapter. Prepaying for drop-off service is an option, not a requirement. We also accept walk-ins and payment after all work is complete. Laptop keyboards are order new with manufacturer warranty and because of this all keyboard replacement work has a 5-10 day repair turnaround due to shipping.

WILL YOU CHECK TO SEE IF MY OLD KEYBOARD IS FIXABLE? Yes, prior to any repair work or parts ordered we perform a full free diagnostic and will notify you of the results and total repair cost for approval.

I KNOW MY KEYBOARD IS BROKEN, CAN I PREPAY SO YOU CAN ORDER THE PART AND CALL ME ONCE IT ARRIVES? Yes. We will calculate the bill after repair and deduct the prepay amount.

HOW LONG WILL THE REPAIR TAKE? Laptop keyboard replacement is a same day process in most cases. All the waiting time is due to shipping.

CAN I ORDER USED LAPTOP KEYBOARDS TO SAVE MONEY? We carry select used keyboards in stock and are happy to offer them should they match your laptop.

HOW MUCH WILL THE PART COST? Most laptop replacement keyboards cost between $45-$80 dollars with the average being around $65 with shipping.
