When the hard drive fails or becomes full it means it’s time to have it replaced or upgraded. Replacing the hard drive in a desktop computer is a fairly simple process and in most cases can be completed as a same or next day service. We carry many used desktop hard drives that come with warranty and can order new drives at discount prices.






Service Details:

Our listed price covers all labor required to replace the desktop hard drive. This includes removal, locating and ordering parts and installation. (If required parts, data transfer or system reinstallation are extra.) After drive installation we perform quality assurance testing, make any settings adjustments needed and then notify you of the completed repairs.

Additional Notes: For drop-off desktop hard drive replacement we need the desktop and power source. Prepaying for drop-off service is an option, not a requirement. We also accept walk-ins and payment after all work is complete. The hard drive is not included in this service and must be provided by you or ordered from us. If this is the primary drive in your desktop, Windows and all other programs will need to be reinstalled after the desktop hard drive has been replaced. FAQ’S:

HOW CAN I TELL IF MY HARD DRIVE IS GOING OUT? Signs of a failing desktop hard drive can be strange clicking noise coming from inside the desktop, loud whining noise, S.M.A.R.T technology warnings about hard drive failure or Windows running check disk repeatedly upon startup. Other signs and symptoms can occur when a hard drive is starting to fail, please schedule a free diagnostic to have testing performed.

HOW LONG WILL THE REPAIR TAKE? Used desktop hard drives can be replaced same or next day if we have the part is in stock. New hard drives must be ordered and can take 5-10 days due to shipping and handling times on the part.

CAN I PREPAY FOR THE PART AND YOU NOTIFY ME WHEN IT ARRIVES TO BRING THE DESKTOP IN? Yes we can.

HOW MUCH WILL THE DESKTOP HARD DRIVE COST? Hard drive prices are based on the size of the drive you have installed. Smaller drives (20-80GB) cost about $30-$40 with shipping. Bigger drives (250GB-500GB) will cost $60-$80.

- Used hard drives provided by us come with a 30-day warranty. New hard drives are covered under a 1-year warranty via the manufacturer.
- We currently accept all major credit cards, debit cards as well as PayPal and cash.
- Sorry no checks or money orders of any kind.
- Payments are due at time of pickup.
