About Us:

Established in 2001, Guardian Technologies located at 1016 Arcade Street – Suite B Saint Paul, MN has been offering in-home and drop-off computer support and repair to both home and small business users alike. Unlike some of our competition, our technicians are seasoned professionals with real world expertise in both Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows operating system repair, small, medium, large sized network installation and maintenance and have the necessary certifications to get the job done quickly and right the first time.

In January of 2010 and because of many customer requests and the similarity of modern game systems to computers we also opened up our doors to Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Xbox360 and Sony Playstation 3 repair solutions and offer a wide verity of options from game disc resurface repair to motherboard GPU repair. As with our computer line of repair solutions, all game system parts and repairs come with a full 30-120 day warranty and quality testing.

Our services are performed within our retail office Sunday through Friday 12:00pm to 7:00pm CST. It is in our proven track record, quality parts and successful repairs which allow us to maintain both our financial wellbeing and the needs of our clients all while keeping prices low. A good percentage of our business comes from client referrals and we realize that going the extra mile for our client always has its rewards in this area and we do so happily as well as offer free phone support when possible.

Our Policy:

At Guardian Technologies we truly believe in treating the client as priority number one and we understand not every client has the same needs or budget. We try to offer a verity of solutions to every repair request both by offering parts in new or used condition or seeking out alternatives to costly repairs on older equipment. Although the client is number one with us we do have some rules of our own that we follow to help avoid possible dissatisfied clients or instability of our business. This set of rules is known as our business policy and although it irritates some, we do enforce it.

- No Checks For no reason will we accept checks both personal or business.

- No Parts Repair We do not offer repair on parts removed by you and brought to us as a single piece.

- No Windows 95/98 Unless for good reason. But honestly, if it goes back that far….it’s time to recycle it.

- No Old Game Systems We only repair Xbox360, Playstation 3 & Wii systems. No others and no plans to expand into them.

- No Pick-up Before Pay Prepaying is not a requirement but payment before the equipment leaves our shop is.

- No Stolen Equipment If we find reason to suspect the equipment we are working on is stolen we will void our repair agreement and have you come to pick back up the items.

- No Saturday Work Although our hours may expand to cover morning service and do stay open late to assist our clients we have no intentions of operating on Saturdays regardless of urgency or otherwise. All work performed by us is done so starting on Sunday and ending on Friday.

To fully accommodate our clients we offer a good selection of computer parts and accessories from LCD’s & DC jacks to keyboards and mice and hard to find laptop and desktop equipment and modified parts. We carry most major brands and offer free phone support for our sales. All Guardian Technologies new and used parts sales come with a full 30-day warranty and all used parts undergo a complete cleaning and testing phase before they are listed on our site or used for repair. We also offer a wide verity of laptops, desktops and game systems that come fully refurbished with cleaning to the inside and outside of each unit and all operating systems reinstalled and fully updated and to top it off we back each sale with a full 30-day hardware warranty and free phone support. Depending on repairs, Guardian Technologies warranties its computer repair service with a minimum of 30-days and a maximum of 90-days. Hardware warranties carry a minimum of 30-days and maximum of 120-days via the manufacturer. Optional used parts sold by Guardian Technologies come with a 30-day warranty. We strive and succeed in this completive market by keeping the customer priority number 1. Although we gladly accept parts being returned due to arriving defective, we will not accept returns due to the wrong part being ordered or because you misdiagnosed the needed repairs. All our parts ship with ID markers and other inspection related tags to protect us from fraud and improper installation returns.

Guardian Technologies is located at the corner of Lawson and Arcade Street in east Saint Paul, Minnesota. There is plenty of parking with a parking lot attached to the building for easy access and is wheelchair accessible. For our disabled or senior clients we are happy to bring the computer from your car and into the building for you.
